UNIT OF COMPETENCE 2- Equipment, design Materials and Features.


DESCRIPTION:

Appliances include different types of equipment, from appliances to small appliances. This set of products has a different design and are produced using a wide variety of materials.

The final objective of this module is for the student to learn the different types of equipment, the materials of which they are made and their characteristics.

The student can analyze the different types of devices, identifying the parts susceptible to maintenance, reuse, recycling, reconditioning and the most relevant characteristics of them.

 

MODULE 2 DURATION: 20 hours

 

SUB UNIT 1- TYPES OF HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES

DURATION: 4 hours

Objetives:

  • List the different types of appliances of white range and describe their operation and types of appliances of white line (cold, washing and cooking), analyze their characteristics and describe the function they perform.
  • Match the elements (cards, motors, solenoid valves, among others) and functional blocks of white appliances, with the function they perform.
  • Match the symbols representing the appliances that make up the device with the actual item.
  • Interpret the diagrams that describe the operation of the appliances.

SUB UNIT 2- ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ACCESSORIES

  • Describe the diagnosis, location, measurement and mid-range techniques

Verify the operation of repaired appliances of white range following the established technical procedures and response time, in quality and safety conditions, environmental respect and complying with current regulations.
